Believe it or not, I wake board too! It's been 3 years and I just popped up, it was like riding a bike. It was so fun for me to show off in front of my brothers and husband who thought I wouldn't be able to get up, let alone get air! Loved it!

Enjoying playing in the sand

So one thing I miss from living in Orange County is the Beach! It's funny how you miss things when they are not around. But when I lived their, I took it for granted, and just went occasionally. So up here in the mountains it's a little different! So I've been living here for just about 3 months and am finally finding more and more things to do that I just didn't know about. There is a Swim Beach at the lake and it's considered the "Beach." So we went the other day to check it out and it was SO cool. I wish I started going at the beginning of the summer. There are so many things for kids to do. First of all they have Lifeguards on duty at all times, so it makes you feel safe. (I was a lifeguard too for about 9 years, so I feel a connection :) They make everyone swim a test to make sure they are safe and everyone has to wear a life jacket in the "Deepend." They have a huge water slide in the middle of the lake and a bouncer. The kids were having a blast!. There is grass, food, drinks, volleyball courts, toys for the kids to play with in the sand. It was kept up very nice, meaning the bathrooms!

As you can tell I really enjoyed it and can't wait for more fun days at the swim beach. Here are a few photos of our 1st day at the "Beach."
