Happy Pie

Why is it when the holidays come I have this strong desire to bake? I don't know what's come over me! I'm watching cooking shows, and recording them of course, I am taking notes and everything. It's like who took over my body, I want her back. I'm am usually not a cook, especially not pie, but this year I'm like a BettyCrocker? Anyways, I've made about 7 pies and have been handing them out like carzy bc I can't keep them around or I'll turn into a big pie! (You know what I mean)

What is it about baking pie this year that is so different? I couldn't tell ya, but I've really been loving it! :) My daughter really loves Pumpkin Pie too. It just cracks me up to see her try new things, her expressions are price less!

Today we were shopping at the local mall and we walked by the Apple store, well in the front of the store window was a huge Santa with his hand up, like he was saying hi. Mackenzie, my daughter who is 18 months, stops walking and runs up to the store window and starts waving back at Santa. It was really endearing, and brought a huge smile to my face. These two young women were walking by and they saw her do this whole thing with Santa. They came up to me and were smiling and laughing, and told me how sweet it was to see her get so excited. It just made me feel so nice inside that they said that.

It's the small things that others do or the little things children do that just make you feel all warm inside.

So enjoy your Happy Pie tomorrow because we sure will, Happy Thanksgiving!
