Holidays Weekends Rock!

Oh how I love long weekends! We really enjoyed it, having our family and friends up for a weekend of fun and relaxation.  We had a lot of BBQ'ing going on, boating, fishing and catching some sun!  We even saw a Pirate ship and fed some ducks on the lake.

Birthday Celebration At Disneyland

We took our little Chubby Baby to Disneyland and had a great time.  This was the 1st time she walked around on her own and wasn't pushed in the stroller the whole time.  To see her face when she saw the parade  was priceless.  She seemed so grown up bc she interacted so much and is so verbal know, we really had a great time.

Of course I wanted to make her something special to wear for her Birthday celebration, so I made her a little apron that she wore over a black tutu, then we added Minnie Mouse ears and BAM- she was ready to go!

Here is a shot of her walking down Main Street

Which character are you from Greese?

"A rebel at heart, you are the leader of the Pink Ladies, Rizzo. You are outgoing, sarcastic, tough, and fit right in with the guys. You have unconventional good looks and will always speak your mind. Sometimes you find yourself in trouble, but always find a way to come out on top.."

This is so me, love it, LOL!!!

It's Official!

Today it is Official for Chubby Baby......... I got my Trademark, on Chubby Baby! I've been wanting to do this since I started my business but I was not 100% sure if my company would be successful, if I'd want to be doing this in a year from know, etc!

As of today I love my business, all my fabrics, the sewing studio I'm in the middle of organizing. I figured I better get this done before someone else swoops down and takes my name.  Since I'm starting to finally get wholesale orders for my Infant car seat covers, I know feel like I'm official (if that makes sense).  See I started my whole business around my Infant car seat design but they weren't ready for retail bc it's not only the product but it's the packaging, the labeling, marketing, I can go on and on! It's always more, more, more!

So here is My Trademark, I'm going to celebrate!

Happy Birthday Baby!!!

My daughter was born 2 years ago and she has Rocked my world, literally. She is the funniest child on Earth, the Loudest, the Friendliest and the Sweetest! I can't get enough of her and know that I am a SAHM, I'm enjoying her even more!

How does 2 years fly by that fast?  Party.........Of Course, so we are planning a big trip to Disneyland and have a whole bunch of little surprises for her and of course I made her Birthday outfit and you'll just have to wait to see till after all the fun.

I have a few friends and family coming up during the week to celebrate too, so I've been cooking up a storm and can't wait for the birthday girl to wake up!

Here are a few pics of when she was born and her 1st Birthday!

Reversible Toddler car seat cover!!!

Here is a new addition to my Toddler Line, it turned out very nice.  The great thing I love about my pattern is that it is Reversible and on the opposite side is any color minky you like, and every color goes with black and white. Take a look and enjoy!

"I'm so sick of cleaning up the gross mess my daughter leaves behind in  her car seat, where does it come from?  I just bought a Chubby Baby slip cover and I love it so much! No more mess and it looks SO Beautiful in my car, actually it feels Fancy, I really love it!"

We've Moved!!!

For the past 3 years my family and I have lived in the tinniest homes ever!  The 1st was a 2 bedroom condo..... sounds nice, but it was set up all wrong and it was cramped, with a little tiny patio.  We sold it before the meltdown in CA, it sold so fast we weren't ready to move so we rented a 1 bedroom, month-to month! I know this was totally crazy, we though it would be maybe 1 month but it turned into 5 long months!  All of our things have been in storage, I started to forget that we had a whole house full of furniture.  Lets say things were supper tight, I mean cozy, to stay positive.  My poor daughter was bouncing off the walls, literally.

My husband and I have been shopping for homes all over the place, and our hard work finally paid off.  We ended up with a 3 bed home, very spacious, a huge yard for our daughter and beautiful German Shepherd!  It's a family based neighborhood, with really nice families and kids all over!  It's a great place to raise my family, but we moved 3 hours away from our families and will miss them and all their help.  We are hoping for a lot of visitors, but not too often bc I need to sew! :)

Here is a little peek into my kitchen/ sewing  room, until my sewing studio is complete.  I'm so excited I have to share, it's about time!
