New Design for Baby Wipe Cases!

I really love this fabric for boys, for my Baby Wipe Cases, but then I found a few other fabrics along the same similar theme, and I can't decide which one I like better!  So I'm going to post my top 4 fav's and I'd like to see what the popular vote is!   So tell me, please! I think my favorite is the 3rd choice, I think it is really fun and hip and there are SO many Music lovers that I have to try and appeal to them!  My husband is learning to play right know so this is a shout out to all his effort!

Everyone Needs a Paci Clip

Since all my supplies were stolen I had to go out and buy all new supplies.  Here are my new Paci Clips that I put together this past weekend and I actually like them better than my old ones.  This order for the paci clips are being shipped out on Monday, thank goodness, it's been hanging over my head! But I still have to post them in my shop, always more work to be done!

Oh how I hate thieves!

Beside my Chubby Baby Company that I have, I also work full time as a Private Investigator. I was assigned a case up in Tulare and had to be away for about 4 days on surveillance.  Since I had to be gone for so long I decided to bring all my "projects"  actually all my supplies for all the orders placed this past week.  My car was stuffed, I had all my fabrics, my sewing machine, glue gun and all accesories.  It is really boring on the road and I wanted to stay busy when I was done with work and finish all my orders.  

The first night I stayed at Motel 6, it was about 11:00 p.m. when I got there and I was very tired and had to be up at 5:00 a.m. to start work.  I left everything in my car, even my clothes, I just brought my purse and laptop and went straight to bed.  At 5:00 a.m. I walked out to my car and discovered it had been broken into and everything was gone!  My entire Chubby Baby business was gone, just like that!  I was SO scared and it was still completely dark out! I couldn't think straight, I just had all these thoughts running through my head, like "did I lock my car up? or is someone watching me and going to try to steel the car? or ???????"  I just couldn't think and I was all by myself and I hated that feeling! I started going though my car and the thief did leave a few things, but not much.  They even stole $1,000.00 out of my bank account because I left my check book in the car like a dummy! They took the charger to my cell phone too, my credit card machine, all my fabrics- everything! I was so upset because I bought everything myself! I have worked so hard to save up and I never got a hand out from anyone.  Then this thief just comes on in and takes everything, I swear if I had found this thief, it would have been ugly.  Lets just say it was a very dark day for me, I was devastated!

So the cops came and took a report and then I had to go to work.  Life still moves forward, I couldn't sit around and sulk, there was nothing I could do, so I went to work and just felt like crap.  So I'm just trying to recoup and rebuild- quickly since I have a ton of orders to fill! AHHHHHHHH.

Boutique Toddler car seat covers anyone?

I have been having so much fun sewing all the beautiful fabrics that are out there! I can't stop making new designs! Here is one of my favorite Toddler car seat covers that I made. It is reversible and is made for the Britax and any other similar shaped car seat. On this model I used Amy Butler fabric and on the reverse side I used the softest of soft pink dot minky fabric. During the winter the minky fabric keeps my chubby baby warm and I noticed that during the Summer it is too warm for that, so I just flipped it over and have a cool and refreshing cotton fabric. I call this one Enchanted! Unfortunately, since I only have a girl right know most of my prints are girly, but I'm trying, so just bear with me! Let me know what you think if you have a chance!

Let it snow!

This is our Chubby Baby's 1st time up in the snow and she didn't know what to really make of it, she kept slipping and falling and getting her hands all cold from the snow because she refused to keep her gloves on. When we went sledding she was so funny because she was acting so serious. She doesn't have a serious bone in her body, she is always full of smiles and giggles. We were all trying to get her to smile and she didn't budge till the end, and she told me she was all done!

To sell or not to sell?

So I've been going back and forth on whether or not I should try and sell seasonal/ holiday fleece blankets? I always make one for my Chubby Baby. For example a Christmas Blankie, a Valentines blankie, a St. Patrick's Day blankie, a Birthday blankie and Easter blankie, you can get the drift! So I've been going back and forth on whether I should put them in my Esty shop, there are so many blankies already out there, but you never know how people might like my themed blankies to drool for! I'll post my Valentine's Day blankie to drool for, let me know your thoughts. :)

What Super Bowl?

Was there a Super Bowl game on this past weekend? Well don't ask me! I was So busy this weekend and my poor husband helped me the whole time. Of course my Chubby Baby thinks she is "helpful" too but I had some big due dates, so I couldn't mess around. My husband helped by taking the Chubby Baby out, so I got everything shipped out today.

I've been working a regular job full time besides running my Chubby Baby Boutique and because I work so much I do have a nanny. I can't do it all and take care of a baby. The point of starting Chubby Baby was so that I could stay home with my baby and be with her all the time and right know it is the opposite and my heart hurts. My life is so busy but I know that this will pay off one day. That one day is not that far away, actually it's about 3 months away.

I have marketed Chubby Baby so much, and it is starting to payoff! It has proven itself and taken off, I set goals and have reached them. I will be quiting my day job and working full time for myself and family. Everything that I have sacrificed has paid off and I am getting my dream, to stay home with my Chubby Baby.

Oh the brown Trader Jos bags are being used because I ran out of shipping boxes, god I hate it when I run out of my shipping supplies.
